Superstar Rajinikanth's Petta under Karthik Subbaraj's direction is made under the banner of Sun Pictures. Petta has a star-studded cast with Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, M. Sasikumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, J. Mahendran and Guru Somasundaram playing important roles. The movie has music by Anirudh.


Petta hit the big screens on January 10th worldwide and the movie is doing a phenomenal job at the theaters. The movie celebrated its 50th day at the theaters on Thursday and some grand celebrations were arranged by the theater owners on the occasion.
