One of the most talented actresses ever to grace our screens - Radikaa Sarathkumar made an effortless switch to the small screens after her heydays as an actress on the silver screens. However, that did not stop her from taking up roles of substance in movies that came her way. She was last seen on the big screens, playing Sivakarthikeyan's mother in the recently released Mr. Local. It was earlier announced that Radikaa was playing an important role in the upcoming movie Market Raja MBBS, which has Arav and Kavya Thapar in the lead. Today, the movie's audio launch happened and she was honoured with an award at this event.

The audio launch of Market Raja MBBS had a number of celebrities in attendance, including the movie's team and Professor Gnanasambandam. At this event, which was held earlier today, Radikaa was given the title of 'Nadigavel Selvi'! Radikaa's father MR Radha was called 'Nadigavel' and he was given this title by the legendary leader EVR Periyar. It is apt that Radikaa has now been given this title.
