'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan has made a stunning comeback after four years with his latest film, Pathaan, which has turned out to be the highest-grossing Hindi film in the history of Indian cinema (original language) with 946 crores in box office collections, and is still going strong in cinemas. With the success of the mass action entertainer now cemented in Hindi cinema history, there has also been considerable excitement regarding SRK's next biggie, Jawan, being directed by blockbuster Tamil director Atlee, who is making his film-making debut in Bollywood.

Announced to hit theatres on June 2, Jawan also marks the Hindi cinema debut for 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara, who is paired with Shah Rukh Khan, while composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer G. K. Vishnu, and editor Ruben too are stepping into Bollywood with the upcoming action thriller releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages as well. With filming on Jawan currently underway in Mumbai, there have reports in certain sections of the media stating that Allu Arjun has been approached for a cameo alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
Initially, speculations were rife that 'Thalapathy' Vijay was being eyed for a special appearance in Jawan, with the role now being offered to Allu Arjun, which is said to be crucial to the film's plot. Reports further state the casting has been a bit difficult as the role requires an A-lister, with all eyes now on the Telugu superstar's nod to his appearance in SRK's Jawan. Although Allu Arjun is not yet a part of Jawan and his casting is yet to been confirmed, the news of the possibility of the Telugu actor sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan has taken social media by storm.
Allu Arjun is currently filming Pushpa: The Rule, the sequel to his 2021 pan-Indian box-office money-spinner, Pushpa: The Rise. A joint production venture of Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media banners, the film will see him reuniting with national sensation Rashmika Mandanna, while Fahadh Faasil is playing a full-fledged role this time as police officer SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat under Sukumar's direction.
