The theatrical release of Power Star Pawan Kalyan's highly anticipated next, Bheemla Nayak has unfortunately been postponed to a later date, in order to pave way for other biggies. Bheemla Nayak was scheduled to hit the screens on January 12, 2022, for the festive occasion of Sankranti / Pongal. Ace director Rajamouli's RRR (starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR) and Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam are the other two films that were lined up for release for the Sankranti festival. RRR was set to hit the screens on January 7, while Radhe Shyam was scheduled for release on January 14.

To get an ideal and proper release window, the makers of RRR and Radhe Shyam are said to have requested Pawan Kalyan and the team of Bheemla Nayak to push their film's release. Agreeing to the same for the benefit of the industry, the release of Bheemla Nayak has been postponed. Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayak will now hit the screens on February 25, 2022, and it is set to have a mega grand release. Naga Vamsi, the producer of the film apologized to the fans for this unexpected development and assured them that the film will be a celebratory treat for the fans.

Naga Vamsi's tweet read, "Apologies to all the fans. Sorry, it was out of my hands. I had to go by our hero @PawanKalyan garu words. The makers of Radhe Shyam also thanked the team of Bheemla Nayak for respecting their request and changing their film's release plans.
