Sundar. C is set to be seen next in the period action thriller Pattampoochi and has the director turned actor playing the role of a police officer. Set in the 1980s, the upcoming film directed by Badri, a former associate of Sundar C, also stars Jai, who is playing the role of a serial killer. Pattampoochi will revolve around the cat-mouse game between Sundar. C and Jai and their chemistry is the biggest highlight of the film, which also has Malayalam actress Honey Rose playing the female lead, with Baby Maanasvi and Imman Annachi cast in important supporting roles. With the film gearing up for a theatrical release soon, the much-awaited 'Pattampoochi' song lyric video has now been officially released.
Featuring music by Navneeth Sundar, the 'Pattampoochi' song has been sung by Shivam and is penned by Mukundan Raman, with the visuals showing a confrontation between Sundar. C and Jai. It will be interesting to witness Sundar. C once again in the role of a cop in Pattampoochi after he last donned the khakhi in the 2019 supernatural horror thriller film, Iruttu, which went on to become a box office success. Produced by Khushbu Sundar under the Avni Tele Media banner, Pattampoochi was initially scheduled to arrive on the big screens in December but was later postponed indefinitely, with the makers now gearing up to present it in a grand manner.
The buzz for Pattampoochi has been quite high in the trade and the pre-release talk on social media too is largely positive as fans have been sharing their anticipation on social media. The film also has a talented technical team on board starting with cinematography by Esakki Krishnasamy, editing by Fenny Oliver, and art direction by Prem Kumar. The premise of Pattampoochi set in the 80s alone has generated a lot of curiosity among fans, especially after the makers released an action-packed teaser sometime back.
