Studio Green is a production house that has predominantly done Tamil language Films. The production house was launched with the film Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. They have delivered many hits and critically acclaimed films in Tamil Cinema. The producer KE Gnanavelraja has also distributed many Tamil and Telugu language films under his banner. The second project that they distributed Attakathi was the debut film of Pa. Ranjith who has grown to be one of the iconic and prominent filmmakers of the south. KE Gananvelraja under the banner Studio Green also produced the second project of the director, Madras that had Karthi as the Lead. Now, the director and producer have again joined hands for Thangalaan.
Thangalaan has iconic actor Vikram in the lead role and is currently in filming. The film has created massive anticipation among fans as it has been a topic of discussion. The producer revealed some interesting updates about the film during the recent interview of KE Gnanavelraja with Galatta Media. The producer said “Thangalaan is a world cinema. We want to dub it a maximum number of languages possible. We have tied up with Netflix. So we want it in maximum languages, we want to get a wider reach". The producer continued that their goal was “There shouldn't be any language people who cannot watch the film. Because the poster and everything (of the movie) gave huge excitement, so the audience will want to witness it." The producer KE Gnanavelraja also gave some exciting information about the hard work of Vikram for Thangalaan. The producer also revealed that the film will be released in 3D.
The Production House Studio green has three massive films in progress. Pathu Thala starring STR is set to release in theatres on March 30. It is directed by the Sillunu Oru Kaadhal fame Obeli N Krishan. The next in line is Thangalaan Directed by Pa. Ranjith and Suriya 42, directed by Siruthai Siva.
