Silambarasan TR is one of the leading actors of the Tamil film industry. The actor has been delivering hit after hit after his comeback with the film Maanaadu and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. The celebrated actor lost many kilograms and transformed for his role in Maanaadu. As he played a 20-year-old man from a village in Vendu Thanindhathu Kaadu, The actor again lost weight for the role. For his upcoming film Pathu Thala, as he plays a middle-aged man, the actor has taken up a new rugged avatar sporting a long beard and moustache. Fans are in awe of the scripts he has been choosing after his comeback from a bad phase. Pathu Thala is directed by Sillunu Oru Kaadhal fame Obeli N Krishna and is produced by KE Gnanavelraja under the banner Studio Green. 

As Pathu Thala, is set to release on March 30, the producer of the film sat down for an exclusive interview with Galatta Media where he shared some exciting details. The producer shared interesting details about Silambarasan TR, Pathu Thala and upcoming projects of the production house. KE Gnanavelraja said "Pathu Thala will be the peak heroism of STR". When the host spoke about STR's speech in the audio launch where he said there was no heroine in the film. The director said "Aunty (STR’s mother) was unhappy. After three days after the release of Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, Anna and Anni (Suriya and Jyothika) got married. After that Sayeesha and Arya, now Gautham Karthick and Manjima were also (got married after) my film Devarattam", said the producer pointing to the reel life pairs who became real-life partners after acting in films he produced.
