Pa Ranjith makes an exciting announcement on his next film - here is what you need to know!

Earlier this evening (August 6), acclaimed director Pa Ranjith made an important announcement about his next film, Natchathiram Nagargiradhu and the update has garnered attention on social media. The first single song from Natchathiram Nagargiradhu has been officially announced to release on August 8, Monday, evening on YouTube and other audio streaming platforms. The first single is called 'Rangarattinam' and it will be a song composed by the young and promising Tenma. This is the first time Pa Ranjith has collaborated with a different composer than Santhosh Narayanan and it is going to be interesting to see what this fresh combination have in store for the audience.

Natchathiram Nagargiradhu will be hitting the screens on August 31 and the announcement about it was made last week, making everyone look forward to watching the film. The post production works are happening in full swing and more songs and other promotional materials are expected to be released in the coming days. Natchathiram Nagargiradhu features Kalidas Jayaram, Sarpatta Parambarai fame Dushara Vijayan, and Kalaiyarasan in the lead roles while the supporting cast includes Hari Krishnan, Vinoth, Subathra Robert, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Regin Rose, Damu, Gnanaprasad, Vinsu Rachel Sam, Arjun Prabhakaran, Uthaiya Surya, Stephen Raj, Sherin Celin Mathew, Manisa Tait, and others.
Kalidas Jayaram plays Iniyan, while Kalaiyarasan will be essaying the character of Arjun, a modern youth. Dushara Vijayan will be playing the character of Rene and she is said to have got a very interesting character to play. Produced by Neelam Productions in association with Yaazhi Films, Natchathiram Nagargiradhu has cinematography handled by Kishor Kumar, while the editing and art direction departments are headed by Selva RK and Jayaragu respectively. Natchathiram Nagargiradhu will be an intense romantic drama that will also strongly talk about the politics behind romance.
