Norway's Tamil Film Festival to screen Pokkisham and Yogi

Earlier, we reported that VN Music Dreams, a Norway-based Tamil association with Moser Baer, will organize a three-day Tamil film festival from February 6 to 9 at Filmenshus Kino, Oslo, Norway. The festival is organized to celebrate the progress of Tamil Cinema and to promote it globally.

Now the latest buzz is that due to the overwhelming audience response, the organizers had decided to add two more films to the list.�The festival is receiving excellent response all over Europe and internationally. The organizers have finally decided to add director Cheran’s Pokkisham and Ameer’s Yogi, directed by Subramaniam Siva.

Directors S.P. Jananathan, Myskkin, Sasikumar and Samuthirakkani are expected to take part in the event. A few critically-acclaimed films including Subramaniapuram, Pasanga, Naadodigal, Anjathey, Raman Thediya Seethai, Nandalala, Ee, Peranma, Poo and Mayandi Kudumbathar will also be screened�during the film festival.

Films made by Tamils in Norway will also be screened to promote local talent. Apart from screening, the organizers will also present the award for the most popular film, the most appreciated film and the film that touched everyone's heart based on a simple survey at the venue.
