Actor Sibi Sathyaraj was last seen in the critically acclaimed Sathya helmed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy in 2017, which was an official remake of 2016 Telugu film Kshanam. The star also has in his lineup, Ranga, under Vinod D.L's direction and a mystery thriller titled Mayon under debutant N. Kishore's direction.

Now, Sibi has announced his next film to be directed by Dharanidharan with whom he had previously collaborated in the 2016 period horror comedy, Jackson Durai, which went on to emerge successful at the box office.

Sibi and Dharanidharan’s yet-to-be-titled upcoming project will be produced by Auraa Cinemas and with his role said to be about a forest officer in the film which revolves around a man-eating tiger with the tagline "Save the Tigers". As of now, it is said the makers plan to begin production on the film sometime in April.
