Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur was spotted on Thursday with a cast on her leg at the Mumbai airport. Best known for her performances in The Lunchbox and Airlift, Nimrat was seen wearing a button-down dress and using a walker stick for support as she was heading to board a flight. The paparazzi were there to catch her entering the airport when one of the photographers asked her how she injured herself, with the actress responding that she got hurt while exercising. A leading daily has also been reporting that Nimrat was diagnosed with a muscle injury and was told to wear a cast for the next few days. "Everything has been put on hold. This is not something I had really thought might happen but now, I have no choice but to stay put at home and give the body the time to heal completely," she was quoted as saying to the publication.

Nimrat was last seen on the big screen in Airlift released in 2016 opposite Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. She has since appeared in the American mystery science fiction television series Wayward Pines, which aired for two seasons in 2015 and 2016, before it went on to be cancelled. She also landed a recurring role on the smash hit espionage thriller television series Homeland in 2014 before being announced to be a part of the show's main cast last year.

Nimrat Kaur will be making her Bollywood comeback in the upcoming Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Dasvi, which began filming earlier this year, with her look from the film also being released sometime back. After completing her schedule in August, the actress shared a post on Instagram and said, "There are unforgettable roles in an actor’s life and there are unexplored places you visit that come with it. Rarely do the twain meet. Bimla Devi Choudhary (aka Bimmo) is one such gift who’ll forever be etched in my heart as the happiest, most thrilling and fun place I got to explore through a part entrusted so encouragingly and lovingly to me!! I already miss her…and can’t believe a journey that began 10 months ago for me finally came to its joyous culmination through some of the most surreal times of all our lives. Nothing but the utmost gratitude to all the stolid pillars of #TeamDasvi!!"
