Son of actor Chiyaan Vikram, Dhruv Vikram, has made a name for himself within the Tamil film fraternity. He wowed fans and critics alike as well as the general public with his breathtaking debut performance in the 2019 romantic drama Adhithya Varma in which he played the titular role. Following that and getting rave reviews for it, he was seen acting alongside his father Vikram in Mahaan which hit the screens earlier this year. He was seen playing the role of a cop trying to take down his father who played the role of a gangster. 

Ever since his last outing, Dhruv seems to have entered to music space. Couple of week ago, the star kid announced his much awaited independent music titled 'Manase'.  He has collaborated with singer Ujjwal Gupta for the song. Now, he has come forward to give a new update on the track along with a brand new glimpse. Taking to his official Instagram handle, he posted a new look of the music video along with a caption that read, "She never came to seek my heart 💕 2 days to go. ". He released the promo of the song some time have which features Dhruv in New York City, U.S., sharing moments with an artist named Nathalie Diaz. The song has been written, sung, and directed by Dhruv himself. There is a lot of hype around the song as it will mark Dhruv's debut as an independent music artist. He launched his own YouTube channel back in August 15 and announced his entry into the YouTube music scene with the song titled 'Dreams | Kanavugazh' in which he shared about his childhood memories and how music has played a big role in his life. He also shared his experiences about learning the guitar and how his father has been a constant support in all his ambitions. 

Meanwhile, back to the work front in cinema, Dhruv will be teaming up with acclaimed filmmaker Mari Selvaraj of Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan fame for a sports drama, which will show him as a Kabbadi player.
