Sinam is Tamil action crime thriller film written by R. Saravanan and directed by G. N. R. Kumaravelan. Produced by R. Vijayakumar under the banner of Movie Slides Pvt Ltd, the film stars his son Arun Vijay and Pallak Lalwani of Kuppathu Raja fame in the lead roles with Kaali Venkat, R. N. R. Manohar, K. S. G. Venkatesh, and Marumalarchi Bharathi among others in supporting roles. The film hit the screens worldwide yesterday (Septe,ber 16) and opened to mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. 

As the film has released, the makers of the film recently dropped the official music video of the song titled 'Nenjellam' from the film. It has been composed by Shabir Tabare Alam, penned by Karky And rendered By G. V. Prakash Kumar and K. Sivaangi. The song is a romantic number that represents the relationship between the characters played by Arun Vijay and Pallak Lalwani. We see a softer side of Arun Vijay in this song than his otherwise intense role as the police officer. 

Sinam explores concepts of revenge and legal justice and follows the life of Pari Venkat (Arun Vijay), an honest cop with a wife and kid who plays by the rules. But when certain events hit close to home and makes a huge impact in his personal life, Pari begins an investigation and is forced to choose revenge over law. The cinematography of the film is done by Gopinath, editing by A. Rajamohammed, music composed by Shabir Tabare Alam with the songs lyrics writen by Karky, Eknath, Priyan, and Thamizhanangu.  

Meanwhile, on the work front, Arun Vijay was last seen in the film Yaanai which hit the screens earlier this year in the month of July. He also recently acted in the web series Tamil Rockers which is available for streaming on Sony Liv. After Sinam, Arun Vijay will be seen in Arivazhagan Venkatachalam's spy action thriller Borrder which has been scheduled to hit the screens on 5 October 2022.
