Sivakarthikeyan's debut production venture, Kanaa, directed by Arunraja Kamaraj featuring Aishwarya Rajesh and Sathyaraj in the lead roles, was a successful venture at the box office. The film also managed to impress the audience for its inspiring content that was neatly infused with a social message. At the audio launch of Kanaa, Sivakarthikeyan announced his second film as a producer and stated that it would be a film made by the young team of Black Sheep, a popular Tamil YouTube channel.

Black Sheep owns a great fan base among the youngsters on social media whose videos have got recognition for its fun quotient. Karthik Venugopal of Black Sheep team was announced as the director with popular television anchor and actor Rio Raj making his silverscreen debut as a lead actor. The film's title was revealed to be Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja, named after the classic MGR song. RJ Vigneshkanth plays Rio's best friend in the film and he is expected to play an important role in this film, while Shirin Kanchwala, Radharavi, and Nanjil Sampath form the supporting cast.

The film was recently censored with a clean U certificate, gearing up to hit the screens on June 14, alongside Taapsee's Game Over and Vikranth's Suttu Pidikka Utharavu. The makers of NNOR have now released the first single from the film, which is called Internet Pasanga. This song is composed by Shabir with lyrics penned by RJ Vigneshkanth and vocals by Diwakar, Shabir, and Rockstar Ramani Ammal . The lyrics look trendy and modern suiting the current generation and it is expected to go viral among the youngsters.

The song has been released on the official YouTube channel of Sony Music who owns the audio rights. The video of this song will feature all the real life YouTube actors and anchors together including the likes of Raj Mohan, Gopi, Sudhakar, Maathevan, Ashiq, Rukshanth, Agni, Anbu Thasan, Sheriff, Avudaiappan, Iniyan, Nikki, and many others, dancing along with Rio and Vignesh.
