Actor Brandt Osborn, known for his appearance on the police procedural television series NCIS, has been arrested in connection with the deaths of a 24-year-old Instagram model and her friend. The 42-year-old and two others, David Pearce, 37, and Michael Ansbach, 47, were arrested on the sets of NCIS: Los Angeles on Wednesday for the deaths of Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola in November. The Angeles Police Department confirmed on Thursday that Pearce has been taken into custody for manslaughter, while Ansbach and Osborn have been charged with accessory to manslaughter. Authorities said in a press release, "It is believed that both women were given drugs and overdosed," while also issuing a warning that "there could be other victims."

In mid-November, Giles' body was found outside a Los Angeles hospital after she attended a warehouse party along with some friends. Cabrales-Arzola, who was also dumped at the premises of another city hospital, survived initially, but was taken off life support by her family weeks after she was declared brain dead. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department inmate records, Osborn was booked for felony charges and has a bail bond fixed at $100,000. Both Pearce and Ansbach were also charged with felonies on the same booking date. Authorities are currently looking into the incidents leading up to the deaths of the two young women since their bodies were dropped outside the hospitals. Osborn’s IMDB profile has him listed for his appearance in an episode of Nurse Jackie and the 2012 film, Ruse, in which he worked in the sound department.
