Netflix India has released the official teaser for the documentary on 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara and Tamil filmmaker Vignesh Shivan's wedding, which took place on June 9 in Chennai. Released as part of Netflix's global Tudum event, the video gives the audience a glimpse into the star couple's wedding and the preparations they had taken for their big day. Titled 'Nayanthara - Beyond the Fairytale', we also see the actress opening up about the tags that are given to her, while she goes on to confide about how she is just a "normal girl who wants to give her hundred percent in whatever she does." Likewise, Vignesh Shivan is seen talking about how Nayanthara is "a wonderful human being", while also expressing his love for her, with Netflix dropping the announcement that the wedding documentary will be coming soon.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in a grand manner in Mahabalipuram, with many leading film personalities gracing the occasion among whom included 'Superstar' Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Suriya, Jyotika, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi, Atlee, Anirudh Ravichander, and others. The excitement among fans for the star couple's wedding documentary has been massive ever since it was announced earlier this year that it would be coming out on Netflix, with the streaming giant sometime back unveiling photos of them both.
On the work front, Nayanthara is currently awaiting the release of the upcoming Malayalam film, Gold, opposite Prithviraj Sukumaran, which has been directed by Premam fame Alphonse Puthren. She is also working on her untitled 75th film being directed by debutant Nilesh Krishna, a former associate of Shankar. Nayanthara is also a part of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan slated to hit screens on June 2, 2023, which will mark her Bollywood debut along with director Atlee and 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander.
