One film that has been creating massive buzz right from its announcement in early 2020, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, starring Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha in the lead roles under Vignesh Shivan will be hitting theatres in December 2021. With the first look poster for Vijay Sethupathi's character Rambo and Samantha as Khatija officially unveiled on Monday, the buzz for the next in the star cast, the highly-anticipated poster for Nayanthara has also been released now. Producer Lalit Kumar, who is producing Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal under his 7 Screen Studio banner in association with Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures, has released Nayanathara's poster in the film, with her character's name announced to be Kanmani. Billed to be a fun rom-com, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal first look posters for Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha have no doubt multiplied the excitement for the film. There is tremendous hype surrounding the venture as it also marks the second time Nayanthara is working with director Vignesh Shivan after their 2015 blockbuster Naanum Rowdydhaan, which also had Vijay Sethupathi. Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal is also 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander's third-time collaboration with Vignesh Shivan after the duo worked previously in Naanum Rowdydhaan and Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. With the Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal posters now out, we can expect the film's teaser or trailer to be released in the days ahead, including an announcement on the theatrical release date. Post the stellar response to the 'Rendu Kaadhal' and 'Two Two Two' songs in the film, the wait is also on for the remaining tracks in the album.
