Telugu superstar Nani has teamed up with 24 fame director Vikram K. Kumar for their film, Gang Leader, hitting screens on September 13. Although titled after ‘Mega Star’ Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster 1991 film, Gang Leader, the upcoming Nani starrer will not bear any similarities to the veteran star’s film apart from the title being the same. Featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, Nani’s Gang Leader trailer released a few days back has gone on to become a tremendous hit among fans who are visibly excited for the film as it was high on energy as well as humor. Being produced jointly by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravishankar and Mohan Cherukuri under the Mythri Movie Makers banner and Vikram K Kumar’s direction, the makers have now released the much-awaited ‘Gang-u Leader’ song promotional video featured on Nani and Anirudh.
Gang Leader has plenty of big names included in its ensemble star cast among whom are Karthikeya, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Lakshmi, Saranya, Aneesh Kuruvilla, Priyadarshi, Raghubabu, Vennela Kishore, Jaija, Pranya, Sathya in important supporting roles. The songs in the film have received a positive response among which the ‘Ra Ra Revengers’ and ‘Hoyna Hoyna’ tracks have turned out to be hits. Incidentally, Gang Leader is the second time Anirudh has composed music for Nani after the sports drama, Jersey, released earlier this year while the film is his third Telugu venture which includes the Pawan Kalyan and Keerthy Suresh starrer, Agnyaathavaasi.
