The film is bankrolled by Srinivasa Silver Screen and has created huge excitement among people. After the theatrical release of the film, It is set to premiere on the over-the-top streaming platform Prime Video on June 9. The streaming platform has shared the news on social media.

The director Venkat Prabhu has shared a fun new video on social media announcing the premier of Custody on Prime Video. The director looked funky in a floral shirt and hat and began speaking "Hello, I am director Venkat Prabu. Under the custody of Prime is Constable Shiva. You don't understand right our custody will be on Prime Video from June 9th." This new announcement has become viral on social media and fans were eager to know the release date of on the streaming platform after theatres.

Apart from Naga Chaitanya, Custody also has Aravind Swamy, Sarath Kumar, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, and Sampath Raj in important roles. The film also has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Ilayaraaja. The film opened to mixed reviews from movie buffs and fans. Another Tamil film titled Raavana Kottam with Shanthanu Bhagyaraj is also set to be released on the same streaming platform Prime Video on June 16.
The next film of director Venkat Prabhu was announced two week back and it is set to feature 'Thalapathy' Vijay in the lead role. The film was announced a few weeks back and is tentatively titled Thalapathy 68.
