In a twist of events, Nadigar Sangam has strongly stated that it will not be supporting actor Simbu on the beep song controversy until he issues an official apology. Meanwhile, Simbu's PRO Hariharan has lashed out at the Sangam for not protecting the privacy of an actor.
"Shows that they are targeting STR for standing against them during the elections. We are not saying the song is good & defending STR but we are asking if this is the first song that embarrassed or as you say insulted women in the industry," he questioned.
"What is Nadigar Sangam for? Is it to protect political interest or to support a actor who is part of the industry?" he added.
