Netflix surprised fans on Wednesday by releasing the much-awaited Money Heist: part 5 volume 2 teaser. Although the teaser doesn't tell us a lot, it shows the losses The Professor (Álvaro Morte) and his operatives endured leading up to the intense climactic battle that are shown in the latest visuals. Money Heist: season 5 volume 1 ended with Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó) sacrificing herself in order to defeat Gandia and his band of soldiers, with the upcoming volume 2 with five episodes set to kick-in the final showdown. 

The 25-second Money Heist: season 5 volume 2 teaser has The Professor stating, "In the last few hours, I've lost people very dear to me. And I won't let anyone else fall because of this heist." We also get glimpses of his team - Lisbon (Itziar Ituño), Berlin (Pedro Alonso), Rio (Miguel Herrán), and others - recovering from the incidents of season 5 volume 1. The Money Heist season 5 volume 2 teaser then flashes with the text, "The end is coming", after which it races forward with Spanish special forces on the chase to nab the heist squad. The teaser ends on a high note with The Professor entering the big fight and loading his gun. 

Money Heist: season 5 volume 2 will also see Jaime Lorente as Denver, Esther Acebo as Stockholm, Hovik Keuchkerian as Bogota, Rodrigo de la Serna as Palermo, Najwa Nimri as Alicia Sierra, Belén Cuesta as Manila, Enrique Arce as Arturo, Darko Peric as Helsinki, Luka Peros as Marseille, Fernando Cayo as Coronel Tamayo, and José Manuel Poga as Gandía. Furthermore, Patrick Criado as Berlin's son Rafael, Miguel Ángel Silvestre as Tokyo's ex-boyfriend René, José Manuel Seda as army chief Sagasta are new to season 5 and will once again be making appearances.
