Iconic Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's next film Aaraattu has been announced to open in theatres and is expected to release on February 10. Billed to be a mass masala action entertainer, promotions for the upcoming film kicked off on sometime back, with the highly-anticipated trailer getting released that showcases the actor in prime form delivering punch dialogues, while also taking on the baddies and coming up with witty quips and also leaving a mark with his eccentric quirks. The Aaraattu trailer is a one-man show and is all about Mohanlal being shown as the hero of the masses and his role in the film, especially after this trailer, will be widely celebrated by fans leading up to the theatrical release in the next few days.
Directed by B. Unnikrishnan, Aaraattu has Mohanlal sharing screen space with South Indian sensation Shraddha Srinath, who earlier starred in Tamil blockbusters like the 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan-starrer Vikram Vedha and Ajith Kumar's courtroom drama Nerkonda Paarvai. The new Malayalam action film also stars KGF fame Ramachandra Raju, late Malayalam actor Nedumudi Venu, followed by Siddique, Prabhakar, Vijayaraghavan, Saikumar, Indrans, Malavika Menon, Swasika and Rachana Narayanankutty among others in major supporting roles. Aaraattu has a talented technical team on board among whom include composer Rahul Raj for the film's music, followed by Vijay Ulaganath as the cinematographer, while Udaykrishna has written the script. Certified recently by the Censor Board with a clean U certificate, the excitement for the film is massive as fans are waiting eagerly to witness Mohanlal once again in action on the big screens.
