Good Luck Jerry is an upcoming Hindi black comedy crime film directed by Sidharth Sengupta and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, Aanand L. Rai and Mahaveer Jain under the banners of Lyca Productions, Colour Yellow Prodcutions and Mahaveer Jain Films respectively. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role, alongside Jaswant Singh Dalal, Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles. It is the official remake of the 2018 Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film is scheduled to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from 29 July 2022 onwards.
The makers of the film have already dropped a song, teaser, trailer, and even the whole music album which were all very well received which resulted to Janhvi Kapoor getting a lot of praise for her character. Now, the film's team has yet again dropped another clip titled 'Meet Jerry AKA Janhvi'.
As the name suggests, the 1 minute 13 seconds long video shows how Janhvi embodies the character of Jerry and also all the effort that she puts into it in order to bring the character to life. We also get a glimpse of some BTS footage which features Janhvi just playing and having fun with literally everyone on set, which is why Jerry’s sets were filled with good laughs, love, and luck. This carefree and fun nature of hers has got the people on set talking about her and praising her.
In this making/behind-the-scenes video, the film's director says, "I think Janhvi is going to look fab because this is going to be her best performance till now. I can guarantee this will be Janhvi's best-looking film". She has been lauded by her co-actors who are heard saying she is a very good actor and an extremely talented one at that and also what a good person by heart she is.
