American actress Lindsay Lohan has announced her engagement to boyfriend Bader Shammas. The Mean Girls actress shared the big news on social media, with a romantic post on Sunday. Taking to Instagram, Lohan is seen blushing with Bader in photos that show them all smiling, hugging and posing for the camera, which she captioned: "My love. My life. My family. My future," along with a ring emoji and "love" hashtag. Apart from Bader, Lohan tagged her siblings, Dakota Lohan and Aliana Lohan, including American jeweller and watchmaker Harry Winston. A representative of Lindsay has quoted to E! News that the actress and Bader have been dating for nearly three years, while also confirming that she "is engaged and happy." Bader, 34, who maintains a low profile, works in the finance industry, according to Harper's Bazaar Arabia. This has also been confirmed by his LinkedIn profile, which mentions that he is based out of Dubai, and is serving as the Assistant Vice President of the international wealth management company, Credit Suisse. Bader has earned degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Finance after he finished his education at the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa. 

Lindsay Lohan was previously engaged to Russian millionaire Egor Tarabasov, with the relationship coming to an end in 2017. Over the years, the Hollywood actress has been outspoken about how she has struggled with substance abuse, including addiction issues and the various problems in her relationships and family. The actress became an international sensation after she debuted as a child artist in The Parent Trap (1998) before becoming a teen star in films like Mean Girls, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Freaky Friday. Lohan recently signed a deal with digital content studio Studio71 to foray into podcasting.
