National Award-winning actress Manju Warrier became the talk of the town in Tamil Nadu after she delivered a thumping performance in 2019's box office blockbuster Asuran opposite Dhanush and under Vetri Maaran's direction. The star actress has since appeared in a number of Malayalam films and will be seen next in the highly-anticipated Jack N' Jill, which has been directed by legendary cinematographer turned filmmaker Santosh Sivan. Manju Warrier is sharing screen space in this sci-fi comedy entertainer with the late Nedumudi Venu, Kalidas Jayaram, Soubin Shahir among others, with Bollywood director-producer Karan Johar on Wednesday releasing the Jack N' Jill trailer.
Santosh Sivan is entering new ground in the comedy space with Jack N' Jill and the one-minute forty-two seconds trailer shows how it will be a popping fun affair when the film opens in cinemas. We see in the trailer the plot revolving around Manju Warrier and Kalidas Jayaram as the backbone of the events culminating in a conflict. The Jack N' Jill visuals also give us a glimpse into the sci-fi elements and Manju Warrier seems to have come up with yet another big performance in her career.
Jack N' Jill has already created tremendous buzz among fans after the song 'Kim Kim' released earlier received a huge response. Santosh Sivan, who has directed the film, is also the cinematographer, with the music composed by Jakes Bejoy, Ram Surendar, and Gopi Sundar, while the lyrics have been penned by BK Harinarayanan. Other notable names in the technical team include editor Renjith Touchriver, whereas the action choreography has been done by Ullas Mohan. Jack N Jill's supporting cast also features Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Renu Soundar, Indrans, and Shaylee Krishen among others in pivotal roles.
