The big day is here! The full music album of Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, composed by A.R.Rahman is officially out and the soundtrack is class apart. As always, the legendary composer delivers songs of high standard and this time, the sounding is fresh and very likeable. The album has a total of six songs and among them, two of them have been already released as singles - 'Ponni Nadhi' and 'Chola Chola'. Both the songs have emerged highly popular among the masses and it is now time for the remaining four songs to add to the list. Among the four, one or two songs might take some time to connect with the listeners, but this is definitely an album that has a flavour of its own. Rahman registers his stamp with an album that is filled with variety.

Among the four new releases, 'Raatchasa Maamaney' is a potential chartbustewillat will instantly make people vibe along with its foot-tapping beats and energetic rendition from the singers. 'Alai Kadal' is a beautiful melody that is soothing and pleasant to hear, while 'Sol' is also a short and sweet song that is impressive. 'Devaralan Aattam' is a track that is trippy and intense. It is a very amusing experimentation that only a composer like A.R.Rahman could do and he makes the track appealing with the fantastic orchestration.

Summing up, Ponniyin Selvan PS-1 soundtrack is definitely a top-class album, but it might take a few days of time for the film buffs to get addicted to the album.
