The survival thriller Malayankunju written by Mahesh Narayanan and directed by Sajimon Prabhakar opened to positive reviews from both fans and critics alike as well as the general public. The film stars Fahadh Faasil and Rajisha Vijayan in the lead roles and also features Indrans, Jaffar Idukki, and Deepak Parambol in supporting roles. Other than the script, Mahesh Narayanan handled the cinematography as well, while Arju Benn edited the film. The music of the film is composed by A. R. Rahman.
If you happened to miss catching the film in theatres, fret not, as the film has been announced for an OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. The team of Prime Video India took to their official Twitter handle to announce this grand news. Malayankunju was praised a lot for its story, style, acting, music, and execution. Fahadh Faasil gives an impeccable performance as always which only further expands his range as an actor. As impeccable as always in terms of acting. But this particular role seemed to bring in bits of his other previous roles. Also, his 'rural' appearance seems to be the same in all such roles.
Isai Puyal A. R. Rahman has delivered whatever was expected of him. He has composed some beautiful pieces of music that flawlessly transitions along with the movie from its melodious moments to a nail-biting thriller. The only song in the film is Cholapenne which happened to be a successful song among fans of the actor, music ,etc.
