Popular Malayalam playback singer Manjari tied the knot recently with her childhood friend Jerin in an intimate wedding ceremony in Thiruvananthapuram in the presence of their family members and close friends, including a few film industry personalities as well gracing the joyous occasion. Seen in a beautiful red saree, the bride looked gorgeous as she accessorized her attire with gold jewelry, while the groom appeared at his dashing best in a red kurta and a white dhoti. Photos and videos from Manjari and Jerin's wedding have been posted by the couple on social media and Malayalam media channels, and congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the couple from celebrities and fans, who have been wishing them a happy married life ahead together. The newly-wed couple has known each other since they were kids in the first grade when they studied together in the same school in Muscat, Oman. Earlier, Manjari had given fans a glimpse into the pre-wedding festivities on social media, which included the Mehendi ceremony. Post the wedding ceremony, the couple visited the Magic Academy to celebrate their big day with specially-abled kids and also appeared on video on Instagram seeking blessings from fans on their new life journey together. Sharing the video, Manjari wrote, "Today is an important day in my life. We got married. We will be spending the day with kids at Magic Academy. There are a lot of talented kids, and we will be having lunch with them, along with our families. We need your prayers and support for our life together." Check out the video below:

On the professional front, Manjari entered the entertainment industry in 2005 with Achuvinte Amma and sang for 'Isaignani' Ilaiyaraaja in the film. She has since worked with leading names in the film and music industry like Vidyasagar, M Jayachandran, Johnson Master, Ouseppachan, Raveendran Master, MG Radhakrishnan, Ramesh Narayan, Mohan Sithara, Kaithapram Viswanathan among many others over the course of her career in which she has sung over 500 songs in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films to date. For the unversed, Manjari was previously married to Vivek Prasad after they tied the knot in 2009, but got separated a couple of years later. Jerin, on the other hand, hails from Pathanamthitta, Kerala, and works as an HR Manager in a private firm in Bangalore.
