The actress Malavika Mohanan answered some questions from fans on Twitter, when a fan asked how was Thangalaan shoot the actress said “So Thangalaan is coming out pretty well (if I say so myself) and it’s a crazy, unique world we are creating!” The actress further stated that they were going to shoot one of the last schedules of the film this month but as actor Vikram had an injury, they will resume shooting after his recovery.

Actor 'Chiyaan' Vikram sustained an broken rib during rehearsals. And now, Malavika Mohanan has revealed that the shooting will only being after he has recovered. When a fan asked about her experience working with the versatile actor Vikram the actress said “Now, that I look back I cannot possibly imagine going through the arduous journey without Vikram sir”. She further went on to say that he helped her every step of the way and every single shot almost and further said that "He’s selfless, super caring for everyone to be around. Thangalaan is a film that has created huge excitement and is the next big project of Pa.Ranjith after the hit films Sarpatta Parambarai and Natchathiram Nagargirathu. Apart from Vikram and Malavika Mohanan, the film also has Malayalam actress Parvathy Thiruvothu, veteran actor Pasupathy, Madras fame Hari Krishnan Anbudurai and English actor Daniel Caltagirone in pivotal roles. The film is expected to release by the end of the year.
