We had earlier reported that the Censor Board is facing shortage of members and many films are in the line to be censored. The latest film to get affected because of this issue is Karthi’s Madras.

We hear that the film has been postponed to August 29 due to a delay in acquiring the censor certificate from the board. The film was initially slated to release on July 25 along with Thirumanam Enum Nikkah and Jigarthanda.

Madras, directed by Pa. Ranjith stars Karthi and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles, Santhosh Narayanan has scored the music for this film.
