Shubha Phutela, the young and peppy lass, who made her acting debut, in the Tamil movie Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathiley, has expired. This lovely lady was born on 5th May 1991, in Ludhiana. The second of 3 children, Shubha entered cinema by chance. It was by fortune that she entered a beauty pageant, won, went on to win many more pageants, started modelling, and finally made it to the big screen through her Tamil movie! There are reports that Shubha succumbed to Jaundice, which she was suffering from for more than 3 months. Certain other reports state that brain hemorrhage was the cause of death. The funeral will be held at her hometown of Ludhiana, today evening. We at Galatta, pray for Shubha's soul to rest in peace, and extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
