Veteran music director M. S. Viswanathan popularly called as MSV, passed away today at the age of 87. The legendary composer who was undergoing treatment for geriatric problems, passed away today at 4:30 a.m in a private hospital in Chennai. MSV scored music for around 1000 films in almost all South Indian languages and was the man behind many yesteryear hits. He made his debut creation in 1952 for the film Panam. The demise of the music director has thrust the South Indian Film industry into mourning.
