Blockbuster Bollywood director Luv Ranjan, who tied the knot with Alisha Vaid in Agra last month, shared photos from the wedding festivities for the first time on social media on Monday. Known best for directing films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, the hit filmmaker wore a white and gold sherwani designed by famed celebrity costume designer Manish Malhotra, while Alisha was seen in a Sabyasachi red lehenga. Posting the pictures on Instagram, Luv Ranjan wrote, "As Alisha and Luv begin their new journey together, we seek your blessings and love." Check out the pictures here:
Several notable names from the Hindi film industry had attended Luv Ranjan and Alisha Vaid's wedding among whom included Bollywood stars namely Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Shraddha Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Rajkummar Rao and wife Patralekhaa, Rakul Preet Singh and boyfriend Jackky Bhagnani, and Sunny Singh and Varun Sharma. Arjun Kapoor too shared pictures from the gala wedding with the caption: "Chalo abhi forever wala rishta confirmed hai. Congratulations to Luv and Alisha officially finally and also I can post whatever little we remember from our time in Agra", along with the hashtags #photodump, #yaarkishaadi and #foreverlove. Likewise, actor Sunny Singh, who appeared in Luv Ranjan's films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, expressed his joy for his collaborator and wrote, "So happy to celebrate this day with you both! Wishing you lots of love and happiness and a fun filled future together. Bhaiya & phabi."
Luv Ranjan has carved a niche for himself in Bollywood with his romantic comedies and hit it big in his directorial debut nearly a decade back with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, which he followed up with a sequel in 2015 titled Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. He once again tasted success in his 2018 directorial with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and will next direct a venture, which will include Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.
