'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram is the film everyone is talking about and director Lokesh Kanagaraj is the man of the hour. The action thriller also stars 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, including Suriya appearing in a thunderous cameo, with the film featuring an ensemble supporting cast that additionally included several notable names from Lokesh Kanagaraj's second directorial Kaithi among whom are Arjun Das, Harish Uthaman, Dheena, Hareesh Peradi, and Baby Monica, who appear in their roles as Anbu, Adaikalam, Kamatchi, Stephen Raj and Amudha, while Karthi reprised his role as Dilli in a voiceover.

Among the major highlights of Vikram was the appearance of Arjun Das reprising his role as Anbu from Kaithi and thus establishing a connecting universe between the Kamal Haasan and Karthi-starrers. With the debate around Vikram on social media high, director Lokesh Kanagaraj sat down for an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Twitter on Wednesday where he invited fans to pose their queries about Vikram using the hashtag #AskDirLokesh. In that light, one Twitter user asked the Master director how Arjun Das' character was alive in Vikram after he died in Kaithi, with the filmmaker responding that the character Anbu's jaw was broken by Napoleon played by George Maryan. He stated that this is the reason why Arjun Das as Anbu appeared with stitches in the Kamal Haasan-starrer, while also informing fans that this will be explained further in Kaithi 2. He tweeted, "Only Anbu's jaw was broken by Napoleon in #kaithi, hence the stitch mark in #Vikram.. this will be explained further in #kaithi2 #AskDirLokesh". Check out the tweet below:
