Ace director Lingusamy is currently working on his upcoming Telugu - Tamil bilingual, The Warriorr that stars Ram Pothineni in the lead role. The film which features the young and handsome hunk as a police officer is an action-packed entertainer that has got high expectations among the fans. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, the film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The Warriorr will have the young and happening sensation, Krithi Shetty, playing the female lead, while Aadhi Pinisetty has been roped in to lock horns against Ram Pothineni.

Earlier today (March 27), the makers made a big announcement on the release plans of The Warriorr and the update has excited the fans. It has been officially announced that Ram Pothineni's The Warriorr, directed by N Lingusamy will hit the screens on July 14. The announcement was made through a new poster that has an intense Ram Pothineni holding a gun in his hand, seated at a railway station. Ram Pothineni was last seen in Red which was a commercial success and the young actor will be looking forward to maintaining the streak with The Warriorr as well. Sujith Vassudev has worked as the cinematographer of the film which has editing by Navin Nooli.

Burra Sai Madhav has penned the Telugu dialogues, while Lingusamy's friend and writer Brinda Sarathy has penned the Tamil dialogues. Being a cop film, The Warriorr will surely be loaded with action and interestingly, action happens to be Ram Pothineni's forte. So, the fans are in for some exciting visual treat. Lingusamy's last film was Sandakozhi 2 which released in 2018 and it is going to be interesting to see him back in action after a brief hiatus. The post theatrical OTT streaming rights of The Warriorr has been acquired by the Disney Hotstar platform, while the audio rights belong to Aditya Music.
