Legendary filmmaker Bharathiraja met 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan at the actor's Raaj Kamal Films International office on Wednesday, March 1. Kamal Haasan shared a picture of himself with the iconic filmmaker, which showed them standing in front of a photograph of the late legendary screenwriter Ananthu. Kamal Haasan captioned the photo as "Three suitors, one bride “cinema“ Mr.Bharathirajaa and I @ RKFI !! Moviola in the foreground and late Mr.Ananthu in the background, both taught me a lot of cinema 🎥."

Kamal Haasan and Bharathiraja have collaborated on several successful films. In his debut film, 16 Vayathinile, Bharathiraja directed Kamal Haasan, which also starred Superstar Rajinikanth and Sridevi. The film went on to become a huge success and showed village life in a completely new light. After that, they collaborated on films like Sigappu Rojakkal, Oru Kaidhiyin Diary, Puthiya Vaarpugal, and Tik Tik Tik. These films were massively successful, cementing the duo's place as one of the most iconic duos in Tamil cinema history.
