Legend Saravanan's debut Tamil film The Legend is all set for its grand theatrical release on July 28 and the film is expected to take a good opening at the box office. The film has been shot on a grand scale with high production value and it is going to be interesting to see how the fares among the audience. The Legend will release on more than 2500 screens across the globe and it is indeed an unbelievably huge count, especially for a debutant actor. That being said, the advance bookings for the film have already opened at selective theatres and the rest of the theatres are expected to open in the next two - three days.

The most interesting aspect about the film is that it has got early morning FDFS shows that will begin as early as 4 AM and this is indeed a big feat. 4 AM shows are a usual practice for big star films - like the ones starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Thalapathy Vijay, Ajith Kumar, Suriya, Chiyaan Vikram, Dhanush, Silambarasan TR, Sivakarthikeyan, and others. But, a debutant film getting a 4 AM show is something great and it tells us the buzz that the film holds among the audiences. As of now, Kamala Cinemas in Vadapalani has opened the booking for the 4 AM show, while the rest of the theatres are expected to join the list soon. The Legend is directed by popular ad filmmakers duo JD - Jerry who have already made films like Whistle and Ullasam.

Produced by Saravana Stores Production, the film has music composed by Harris Jayaraj whose songs have turned out to be a big hit among the masses. Popular Bollywood heroine Urvashi Rautela plays the female lead in this film, marking her debut in Tamil cinema. Suman, Vijayakumar, Latha, Vivekh, and Yogi Babu form the supporting cast in this film that has cinematography by R Velraj and editing by Ruben. A strong team has come together to create an action packed mass entertainer and let us hope that their work pays off.
