Last week, several Tamil films released in theatres but despite that, The Legend has managed to hold a fair share of screen count and it tells us that the film still sells well with the family audiences. The film dealt with a very topical issue which seems to have connected well with the masses. Legend Saravanan plays a scientist who finds a medical cure for Sugar related health issues and he is opposed by a mafia group of businessmen. How Saravanan defeats the odds and lends his service to the needy is what The Legend is about. The film was a mass masala that had all the commercial elements put together.

The Legend is directed by popular ad filmmakers duo, JD - Jerry who have earlier made films like Ullasam and Whistle. Produced by Legend Saravana Stores Productions, the film has cinematography by R Velraj and editing by Ruben. Harris Jayaraj composed music for this venture and his songs took the film to a wider range of audience. The songs and background score by the ace composer was one of the impressive aspects of the film. The Legend is expected to continue its good run at the box office for the next few days, with the support of the family audiences.
