Sarath Babu was a popular actor who played important roles in many hit films over the year. He died due to a multiple organ failure yesterday in a private hospital in Hyderabad. Later, his mortal remains were transited to Chennai and the last rituals were held here. The actor has acted along with leading stars of the Tamil film industry and with many actors in the Telugu film industry. He has also acted in lead roles and in some television serials. Many fans and celebrities expressed their condolences on the demise of the actor on social media.

Galatta media met with some of the family members of the late actor Sarath Babu and asked about his demise. When asked about the fake news that spread earlier this month about his demise. A friend said “That was fake news, he was stable. He was recovering. He had sepsis and last two-days what happened was it spread to all the organs and it could not be treated." When asked about what he spoke up with the family lastly, his friend said "when he (Sarath Babu) was admitted to the hospital he was well and confiedent said he will recover and return back home."

Speaking about Sarath Babu, one of his brothers said “he was not just a brother but like a father to every one of the brothers and sisters in their family.” When asked why they transported his mortal remains from Hyderabad to Chennai. He said "the film association asked them to keep his body there for some time but he had always said to us his last place should be Chennai” said the brother of the actress. Many popular actors in the Tamil Industry including Superstar Rajinikanth, Sarath Kumar, Radhikaa Sarathkumar, Parthiben and others paid their respects to the mortal remains of the actor in person.
