Popular Hindi television actress Pooja Banerjee is set to become a parent for the first time with her husband Sandeep Sejwa. The couple has begun celebrations already and threw a baby shower ceremony on Sunday, and released a series of photos on Instagram in which they can be joyous in high spirits eagerly looking forward to welcoming the newest member in their family. Known best for her work in the hit Hindi serial Kumkum Bhagya, the actress in a pink dress and her husband Sandeep can be seen all smiles and blowing a two-tier cake, which is surrounded by a few dolls. Sharing the pictures, Pooja used the hashtags "Baby shower saga", "Baby Poo" and "Sejwal Jr" along with an evil-eye amulet emoji.
Prior to the baby shower bash, Pooja posted a bunch of photos and showed fans the preparation that was being undertaken for the ceremony celebrations. Flaunting mehendi on her hands and arms, the actress wrote in her design words like 'Baby Poo', 'Sejwal Junior arriving soon', 'Ma', 'Pa' and 'Boy or girl'. An outline of the couple, a baby on a cradle and several balloons can also be spotted in the mehendi design. Posting the pictures on social media, Pooja wrote in the caption: "And so it begins... Baby shower saga." Many of the actress' celebrity friends sent in their wishes, including Sriti Jha, the lead in Kumkum Bhagya, who dropped heart emojis.
Outside of her work on Kumkum Bhagya, Pooja Banerjee garnered a huge fan following after her stint on the reality show MTV Roadies 8. She has also made appearances on hit TV shows like Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, and Nach Baliye 9 to name a notable few.
