The first schedule shoot of Suriya 42 was wrapped up recently at Goa and the team is currently on a break. Details regarding the second schedule are yet to be known and further updates are awaited. That being said, an interesting update about the cast of the movie has been known and here is what you need to know. Ace director KS Ravikumar has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film and he has already shot for his portions in the recently concluded first schedule. Pictures of KS Ravikumar from the shooting spot have surfaced on social media, garnering wide attention. KS Ravikumar directed Suriya in Aadhavan and he will now be sharing screen space as an actor in Suriya 42.

The film is directed by Siva and this will be the star director's next film after Annaatthe. Produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green in association with UV Creations, the film features Bollywood heroine Disha Patani as the female lead and this will be her debut film in Tamil cinema. The fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing the refreshing pair of Suriya and Disha Patani for the first time and an exciting treat awaits fans. Suriya 42 will have music composed by Devi Sri Prasad who recently delivered a blockbuster album through Allu Arjun's Pushpa. Kovai Sarala, Redin Kingsley, Yogi Babu, and Anandaraj are also a part of the star cast.

Suriya 42 has been planned to be shot on a grand scale and it will be released in 10 languages, as a pan Indian biggie. The film will also be released in the 3D format, thereby becoming the first ever Suriya starrer to be released in 3D.
