Bharath, debuted in director Shankar's Boys along with Siddharth, Genelia, SS Thaman, Nakkhul and Manikandan. His movie Kaalidas was supposed to be released in 2018, where he will be seen donning the khaki uniform. Kaalidas, a investigative thriller is directed by Sri Senthil, who had earlier won the reality talent show "Naalaiya Iyakkunar". Bharath said in an interview that part from the usual rugged side, a soft and personal side of his character will be explored as well.
The crime thriller will take place in three days' time for which the Mollywood actor Ann Sheetal has been roped in as the female lead. Suresh Menon and Aadav Kannadasan will be playing vital roles in Kaalidas. Cinematographer Velraj will be cranking the camera for the movie with Vishal Chandrashekar's music and the lyrics of the songs are penned by lyricist Thamarai.
