In less than 24 hours, Karthi's Viruman will be hitting the screens and this will be the Paruthiveeran actor's first release of the year. Aditi Shankar, daughter of ace filmmaker Shankar, will be making her debut as an actress in Tamil cinema with this film. Viruman has managed to garner a good buzz both on social media and onground. Karthi and Aditi Shankar have been actively travelling to multiple cities to promote the film and going by the positive pre-release buzz, Viruman is most likely to take a very good opening at the box office. The first shows in the city will begin at 8 AM.

With a runtime of 2 hours 30 minutes, the film has cleared the censor test with a U/A certificate. Meanwhile, the makers have now released a new scene from the film as a sneak peek and this scene looks interesting. Karthi is full of energy and his vibrant performance is surely going to be one of the highlights of the movie. The scene is a confrontation between Karthi and Prakash Raj and it establishes the conflict between the two who play father and son. This father -son conflict will be the core conflict of the movie. The film is directed by Muthaiya of Komban and Kutti Puli fame and has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The ace composer's songs have already managed to reach big among the masses, with 'Kanja Poovu Kannaala' and 'Madura Veeran' becoming massive hits. Prakash Raj, Raj Kiran, Soori, Vadivukkarasi, Singam Puli, RK Suresh play supporting roles in the film which has cinematography handled by Selvakumar SK of Maanagaram fame.
