Karthi's Viruman is carrying tremendous expectations as it will see the actor teaming up with director Muthaiah once again after their 2015 film, Komban. Being planned for a summer 2022 release, the film includes a talented supporting cast featuring names like veteran actor Rajkiran, National Award winner Prakash Raj, Soori, Myna Nandhini, and Manoj Bharathiraja, who was recently seen in Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu. Viruman has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is the fifth collaboration with Karthi after their previous films Paruthiveeran, Paiyaa, Naan Mahaan Alla, and Biriyani, with fans looking forward to yet another chart-buster album from the hit composer.
