Dev is Karthi's first release in the year 2019 and was outright bashed by both the reviewers and the critics. And his next with "Managaram" fame Lokesh Kanagaraj is Kaithi is gearing up to be unleashed on August.
His next project, tentatively titled as Karthi 19 was launched with pooja on March 13. Now, the sources close to us have stated that the second schedule of the movie is said to be beginning from July 10 and the female lead of the movie, Rashmika Mandanna will apparently be joining them.
Karthi 19 is directed by the "Remo" fame Bakkiyaraj Kannan and the movie will mark the debut of Rashmika Mandanna. Bankrolled by S.R. Prakash Babu and S.R Prabhu's Dream Warrior pictures, the movie also feature the KGF star Ramachandra Raju and Ponnambalam.
The music is scored by Vivek - Mervin for Karthi 19, while the cinematography is handled by Sathyan Sooryan. This movie is said to be an action comedy entertainer which will also have actor Sathish.
Switching to Kaithi, the movie also features Narain, Vijay TV Dheena and Mariam George among the others. Kaithi is also bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures, penned by Pon Parthiban & Lokesh Kanagaraj, with Sathyan Sooryan as the DOP and Sam CS' music.
