One of the most anticipated movies of the year is Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram which is all set and ready to hit the screens on 3 June 2022. The film has been the talk of the town and topic of conversations ever since it was first announced. With each passing day and with every clip, song, teaser and trailer that the film's makers are dropping, the more hype goes around it. Audience, fans and critics alike are eagerly waiting to catch the Universal Hero back on the big screen after his nearly 5 year long hiatus as he was last seen nearly 5 years ago in 2018's Vishwaroopam 2.

The film has now been officially wrapped up with post-production coming to an end. With the final product completed, it is just a matter of time until we, the audience, get to experience it ourself. Lokesh Kanagaraj took to his Twitter handle to update us with this news. Sharing two images of him with Anirudh Ravichander and team in the sound mix studio along with a caption that read, "Locked & Loaded 🔥 #VikramFromJune3", it is more than reassuring to see the status of the film.

Another important update is that Kamal Haasan's title card from the 90s is to make a comeback in this film. Over his last few releases, Kamal did not have this title card. So it has been quite some time since he had it feature on screen. It is to add an element of nostalgia to remind us how far Kamal Haasan has come as a performer and also to remind us that the Ulaganayagan has not gone anywhere.

The upcoming action thriller is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International banner. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in the lead with Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Antony Varghese and Arjun Das in supporting roles. The soundtrack and film score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj.
