A film that is keenly awaited by Tamil cinema fans ever since it was announced in 2020, 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram also starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and leading Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, recently wrapped up its production under blockbuster filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction. Produced by Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran under the Raaj Kamal Films International banner, the upcoming film featuring music by Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander will have its release date officially announced on March 14 at 7 a.m. on the occasion of Lokesh Kanagaraj's birthday. With the post-production works currently underway, Lokesh Kanagaraj announced on Friday that Vikram will be a pan-Indian film, with the hit director also unveiling a new set of posters along with the announcement. The Vikram m release date announcement will kick off the first leg of promotions for the film ahead of it coming out on the big screens and we can expect more treats from the team going forward. The buzz surrounding the film is massive and the latest announcement will no doubt come as massive joyous news for fans, who have been singing praises for the promotional material that has been released so far. Touted to be a raw and intense action-thriller, the stellar star cast alone has elevated the talks about Vikram among fans and all sights are on to witness Kamal Haasan, alongside National Award winners Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in action. Up until now, there is no confirmation on the roles being essayed by each of the stars, with Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh strongly speculated to be playing roles with negative shades. 

Apart from Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil, the star cast for Vikram will feature Narain, Chemban Vinod, Kalidas Jayaram, and Gayathrie in pivotal roles, while it has also been reported that Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 sensation Shivani Narayanan, television actresses Maheswari Chanakyan, Myna Nandhini and veteran actor Santhana Bharathi are also making appearances in the film.
