'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram is en route to creating massive new records after taking a spectacular start in theatres worldwide. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial also starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist and Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil as a cop, including a power-packed cameo by Suriya, has collected more than 200 crores on cinema screens around the globe and continues to go strong. Vikram includes an ensemble star cast apart from the big four among whom is also popular Tamil choreographer-actor Jaffer Sadiq, who is known for playing Narikutty in the 'Love Panna Uttranum' segment directed by Vignesh Shivan in the 2020 anthology web series Paava Kadhaigal

Jaffer appears as a member of the Vetti Vagaiyara gang led by Vijay Sethupathi's character Santhanam in Vikram and recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Galatta and shared his shooting experiences with the team. During the interview, the actor opened up on the climactic sequence and the time he witnessed Kamal Haasan in action with the cannon gun, which was one of the biggest highlights of the film. He said, "I watched that scene on the monitor as it was being shot. It was mind-boggling to see his skin also act in that sequence as the cannon he was pulling was heavy even though it was not an original one and made especially for the shooting purposes. You can see him put in an effort for real in pulling the cannon gun. 'Ulaganayagan' - he's often proving why he's been given that name." Jaffer added, "When Kamal sir came back after his recovery from Covid-19 treatment, everyone felt a vibe. He performed in different ways and also like a child for us. And, at that moment, you will look at him as a child. The 10 days I shot with him for Vikram was a superb experience for me."

Vikram has been produced by Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran under the Raaj Kamal Films International banner and features music by Anirudh Ravichander, who has delivered yet another memorable piece of work with the songs and the background score. The film is the talk of the town now as fans continue to shower praises on the entire team as each department has come out with flying colors in their work.
