Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies recently celebrated its 15th year anniversary in Tamil cinema through a grand gala event which took place in Chennai. The event witnessed the presence of all the leading stars from Tamil cinema including the likes of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, Chiyaan Vikram, Sivakarthikeyan, Silambarasan TR, Karthi, Vishal, Arulnithi, and many others. Bollywood hero Aamir Khan was also present as one of the chief guests of the event. During the event, Kamal Haasan made a super big announcement which took one and all by huge surprise.

It was revealed that Udhayanidhi Stalin will be starring in a new film under the production of Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International and the update set the film buffs in excitement. That being said, Kamal Haasan officially unveiled the announcement video of the film this morning (July 27) through a tweet and it has gone viral among the fans. Kamal Haasan sent his best wishes to Udhayanidhi Stalin and welcomed him onboard through a tweet that read, "அன்றைய சரித்திரம், மீண்டும் அதை நினைவுறுத்துவோம்! தம்பி @Udhaystalin அவர்களை வாழ்த்தி வரவேற்கிறேன். @RKFI @turmericmediaTM @RedGiantMovies_".

In return, Udhayanidhi replied that he would try his level best to live up to his expectations. This is surely one of the most exciting announcements in the recent history of Tamil cinema and one has to wait for a few more weeks to know who will direct this highly anticipated venture. This film will be Raaj Kamal Films International's 54th production venture and more details are awaited. Udhayanidhi Stalin is currently busy acting in Mari Selvaraj's Maamannan which has got high expectations among the moviebuffs.
