Kalaignar Karunanidhi passed away on 7th August at 6.10pm and his body was buried at Marina Beach with full respect yesterday (8th August) evening.
Kamal Haasan’s spy action thriller Vishwaroopam 2 (August 10th, Friday) and Harish Kalyan & Raiza Wilson’s romantic drama Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (August 9th, Thursday) are the two Tamil releases for this week.
After Kalaignar’s demise, there was a question among general public and movie buffs whether these films will release as per plan or not. But now it is ensured officially that both will be hitting the screens. There is no change in the release of Vishwaroopam 2, but Pyaar Prema Kaadhal will release tomorrow (10th August), postponed by a day as a mark of respect to Karunanidhi’s death.
